When I think of God’s wonders, His might, and His awesomeness, my soul cries out, “Hallelujah!”
Our heavenly Father is a God who is “majestic in holiness.” I love reading chapters 38-40 in the Book of Job. These chapters scream out loud, the AWESOMENESS of God. In these chapters when God is talking to Job, He explains the smallest to the largest details of His creations.
The telescope was patented by Hans Lippershey, an eyeglass maker. The telescope has opened our eyes to see the universe, that God created. The telescope allows us to see the mountains and craters on the moon. It reveals new planets and asteroids. These new planets and asteroids are new to man, but not new to God. It helps man to understand the gravity and other fundamental laws of this physical world. Telescopes have helped us understand the light that radiates from the sun and other stars. Oh, how beautiful and awesome the wonders of God’s creation. God is awesome!
The microscope invented by Zacharias Janssen is an optical instrument used for viewing very small objects, such as mineral samples or animal or plant cells, typically magnified several hundred times. A microscope is used to see objects too small to be seen by naked eyes. Things invisible and too small for a man to see, these things were created by God. God created everything and even the smallest things made by God are fascinating.
God is totally amazing and awesome. He created all things whether we can see them or not. So whether you are looking upward through the telescope or looking down into a microscope, God made it all, and all of it displays His glory and His greatness.
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11)
My human, limited vocabulary can’t truly describe God’s awesomeness. God is awesome, outstanding, astounding, Kryptonian, breathtaking, stunning, stupendous, righteous, monumental, indomitable, striking, phenomenal, magnificent, majestic, splendorous, legendary, incredible, spectacular, tremendous, wonderful, extraordinary, impressive, jaw-dropping, marvelous, grand, amazing, etc.
Our God, who made man into His own image, is truly concerned about us. If He is concerned about the stars, moon, and knows the count of each grain of sand, how important do you think we are to Him. We are very important indeed, or He wouldn’t have ever given His Son as a sacrifice to redeem us.
Yes, our God is mighty AWESOME, indeed!
Our AWESOME GOD is difficult to proclaim - but you did a grand job!!!
