DARE TO BELIEVE

Updated: Feb 16, 2021

Romans 4:17 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be.”

God’s blessings are given to us by faith, as a free gift. God’s blessings do not go to those that are good enough. God’s blessings are given to us by faith and faith alone.

When God told Abraham that he would give him a son who would have many descendants and become a great nation, Abraham believed God even though such a promise just couldn’t come to pass. Because his faith was strong, he didn’t worry about the fact that he was too old to be a father, at the age of one hundred and his wife was ninety. Abraham never doubted. He believed God for his faith and his trust grew stronger, as he praised God for this blessing, even before it happened. He dared to believe.

At times our faith dares us to believe and to take Jesus at His word. On occasion, we feel our faith must press through our life’s circumstances. Jesus understands our growing concerns about the things that causes us stress, worries, and troubles. He knows that at times finances are strained, our heart may be broken, you may be unemployed or under-employed. He knows that you are hurting, discouraged, and disappointed.

Maybe your loved one is ill and you are believing in God for a miracle. Maybe you are believing God for a financial breakthrough. Regardless of what it is, please do not put limitations and restrictions on God. Please do not reduce God down to your natural level. Dare to believe! God can heal, restore, and strengthen. Dare to believe! Believe that God can do the impossible. Let your belief soar. Declare the word of God into your life. Choose to believe. Dare to believe!

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:16)
