The Name of God, El Gibbor. It means, "Mighty God."
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6.
In a time of great darkness, God promised to send a Light who would shine on everyone living in the shadow of death. He is a "Mighty God", all powerful, and all loving. He fulfilled His message in the birth of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah used five names to describe Jesus: Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace.
