In 1967, the FCC met with AT&T to find a means of establishing a universal emergency number. In 1968, AT&T announced that it would establish the digits 9-1-1, as the emergency code throughout the USA. Thusly, establishing the N-1-1 codes. Today we have codes:
911 - for all emergency services (police, fire, ambulance and rescue).
811 - for Underground public utility location (call before you dig).
711 - for TDD and Relay Services for the deaf and hard of hearing.
611 - for telephone company (telco) customer service and repair.
511 - for traffic information or police non-emergency number.
411 - for directory assistance.
311 - for municipal government services, non-emergency number
211 - for community services and information.
The number 911, is the telephone number we dial in case of an emergency. When you dial 911, a person will answer the phone, with a dialogue like this, "Hello, this is the 911 operator, what is your emergency?" Depending on your emergency, the appropriate emergency unit will be dispatched to your location.
The U.S. doesn't have a code for 1-1-1, but I praise God, as His child, we have a very special code, and that code is 1-1-1. One for the Father, one for the Son, and one for the Holy Spirit. For us, it is a universal world wide call, to our heavenly Father, and it was established before the beginning of the world, 1+1+1=3. Three is the first number to which the meaning "ALL" was given. It is the Trinity. There is only one God and the three exists as One. They are co-equal and co-eternal.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). God is our 9-1-1. Is there anything to hard for our God? In case of an emergency, we can always call 1-1-1, or just cry out to Jesus. Jesus is our emergency contact person and He is asking us, "what is your emergency?" One call and that's all!
Got trouble, call Jesus.
Got financial problems, call Jesus.
Got health problems, call Jesus.
Worried or frustrated, call Jesus.
Children not acting right, call Jesus.
Life falling apart, call Jesus.
Relationship trouble, call Jesus.
Whatever the problem, call Jesus.
Jesus' number is never busy and when you call Him, there are no party lines and no one will ever ease drop on you. Everything that is discussed will always be completely and totally confidential. Jesus is on the main line, just tell Him what you want.
No operator assistance is necessary. All lines to God are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Jesus is available, any time and any where in the world. There are no telephone fees, no roaming fees, and no surprise me get-up-out-here fees. When you receive your telephone bill, there will be no surprise fees when talking to Jesus. Aren't you happy that you don't have to go through any changes to contact Him? Praise the Lord!
Can you imagine calling on God and getting these types of responses:
Dialing...Ringing...Answering...Message
Press 1 - for the status on your prayer request.
Press 2 - for inspiration to get your praise on.
Press 3 - for any complaints.
Press 4 - for all other inquiries.
You then press 4 and hear this message, "All of God's angels are helping other Christians right now. Please stay on the line and your call will be answered in the order it was received. Please stay on the line if you would like to take a short survey."
Press 5 - to speak to the archangel, the Worder, Gabriel.
Press 6 - to speak to the archangel, the Warrior, Michael.
Press 7 - to speak to any other angel.
Then you press a number and hears this message, "I am so sorry, that was an invalid number, please try again."
Press *1, to find if any of your relatives or friends made it to heaven.
Next please enter their date of birth, and date of death, along with their
social security number, and lastly their full name as it appears on their
birth certificate.
I am so sorry, that person is not a resident here. You don't need to speak
to my supervisor, because God doesn't make any mistakes. If you didn't
hear their names, that means Heaven is not their home.
Press #2, for how to obtain reservations to get into Heaven, press the letters
J-O-H-N, followed by the numbers 3-1-6.
I am sorry, but this office is now closed. Our regular business hours are
