If my mother told me to do something, I did it without questioning her. I have always believed that my mother always had my best interest at heart. I love my mother and I trusted her. It was all about the trust factor.
So what is trust? Trust is an emotional brain state, not just an expectation of behavior. Trust is a central part of all human relationships, including romantic, family, friends, business, politics and medical.
Trust is the faith you have in someone that they will always remain loyal to you and love you. To trust someone means that you can rely on them and are comfortable confiding in them because you feel safe with them. Trust is the foundation upon which your relationship can survive the hardest of times.
The lack of trust is the driving force of destroyed relationships. Most of us cannot tell if someone is lying to us from looking at their facial expression or body language. We truly want to believe someone is telling us the truth, especially when they are emotionally or psychologically important to us. It's becomes very painful to find out that someone we care about or trust, is lying to us.
Although us humans are unpredictable and we do lie sometimes, there is someone you can always trust. We know that we can always trust God. Our faith must be built on God say's so. The Bible says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Having faith in God is having trust. You have to trust God with your entire being. You must believe that God has your back and that He will help you with every situation and He will take care of you. He knows what's best for you. God is both faithful and trustworthy.
God says, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." (Mark 9:23)
God knows the desires of your heart. Whatever your needs are, He will take care of them. He knows what's best for your life. When you feel like your goals are too difficult to obtain or even impossible, with God, if it's in line with His will and for your purpose, it will be what God says so. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
When you trust God and what God says, you will begin to understand it's not about you and what you do, because you can't do nothing without God. It's all about God and what He can do.
You must trust God's through faith. God is faithful and He hears our prayers. You must be willing and understand, that God will answer your prayers in His own time, in His own way, and by His own power. Instead of trying to understand the situation or trying to find the answer yourself, you must simply rely on God, and God alone. You must open your heart to God's answer, whatever it is and trust God to answer according to His plan. Prayer takes faith, persistence, and a willingness to let God have His own way in your life. God will answer your prayer in a way that is best for you and most useful to you, because He always have your best interest at heart.
"I can do all things through him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
