JEHOVAH HASHOPET

The Names of God, "Jehovah Hashopet." It means, "The Lord the Judge."

"Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the Lord the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon" Judges 11:27.

A judge is a person with authority. A judge identifies what is good and right. A judge discerns the truth. A judge has the power to execute sentencing. God is our Judge. God is our Law-giver. He legislates His laws, He sentences and he punishes.

God is the Omnipresent, God is present everywhere. God is Omnipotent, He is all-powerful. God is Omnibenevolent, He wants only the best for us. God is Omniscient, He is all-knowing, of past, present and future. God is the searchers of hearts and He knows the true facts. He truly knows us, because He created us, therefore only He can judge us.
