The Names of God, "Jehovah Mekaddishkem." It means, "The Lord That Sanctifies You."
"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you" Exodus 31:12-13.
Sanctification means to make something holy. Holiness is the very nature of God. God is the One who sanctifies us. He completed our sanctification through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we are washed, justified and sanctified. God did this by giving us His Spirit and that brought the nature of God inside us. Jehovah Mekaddishkem has been fulfilled in Christ as the One who has sanctified us and continues to sanctify us daily by His Spirit.
