The magnificence of God is beyond description! I was looking out the window and the most strikingly Cardinal Red Bird was perched on my fence post. It was brilliantly red all over with a contrasting black facial mask, and even its bill was red. I stood there with a “Kool-Aid” grin on my face, admiring the glory of God. I pause to give God the glory, because only He could make something that breathtaking and spectacular. LOOK AT GOD!
God laid out the foundation of the earth. Created the seas, marked its shores, and told it to only come so far, and no further. God causes the sun to rise up on the West and go down on the East. God who knows where the gates of death is located. Who know where the East wind lives. Who laid out the path for lightning and causes the rain to fall down on a barren desert, so that the parched land with provide food and water for His little creatures. God, who can make lightning appear when He gets ready and order it to strike when and where He wants it to.
God, the One who guides the constellations, controls the clouds and make them send us rain. God, the One, that is wise enough to number all of the clouds and the hairs on our head. Look up to the heavens and what do you see. He created the sky, and all the stars and planets. He counts them all and makes sure that none of them goes astray and He has names each and every one of them.
God who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night. Who stirs the sea and oceans, and cause their waves to roar.
God, the One who fills the valleys; levels the hills; straightens out the crooked paths; and smooth off the rough spots. God, the One who knows the weight of all the earth and weights the mountains and the hills. The One who never need anyone’s advice, nor needs anyone’s instructions as to what is right and best. In the book of Isaiah, God asked a series of questions; “How can we describe God?; What can we compare Him to?; Who is His equal?” God who created mankind. He created us in His own image and gives us so much attention. Job tells us that God examines us every morning and test us every moment. He cares for us so much, that we are magnificently made. He set us over all other creatures. Then he gave his only begotten Son for us, so that we can be redeem. God is truly wonderful magnificent.
God exudes beauty. This world is our beautiful painted backdrop that displays his magnificent creation. God is the Marvel of all marvels. Psalm 145:3-5 tells us that, “God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness. Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts. Your beauty and splendor have everyone talking; I compose songs on your wonders.”
God is so “magnificent," that His creation and creatures applaud Him. He is beyond human understanding. He never needed to discover anything, because he created all things. He is never surprised about anything and nothing never escapes Him. He is power, wisdom, holy and is love. We should marvel at His endless creativity, and his unique righteousness, and wonder at his graciousness.
We stand in awe at the complex and majestic works of the “Maker” of everything. His glory manifests itself in everything that He created. God is magnificent, majestic, radiant, and brilliant. He exudes grandeur, splendor, greatness, gloriousness, and nobleness. His creations are extraordinary, dazzling, perfect, superior, and impressive. Our God is the “Lord," the “Greatness," the “Power," the “Glory," the “Majesty”. He is the “MAGNIFICENCE!”
