To be original means that you are, first, primeval, aboriginal, archetypal, pristine, creative, productive, inventive, ingenious.
God is the Originator of everything that was created. Everything that He created was original, because they did not exist before He created them.
God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. Isaiah 40:28 says, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” All three Persons of the Trinity were involved in the creation of the universe.
Although we have never seen God, we believe by faith that He exists. Let’s do an exercise. Stand outside or just look outside. Now, close your eyes. What do you see? Nothing, right? Now open your eyes. Tell me, what do you see? You may see, houses, trees, cars, the sun, flowers, grass or dirt, cats or dogs, and maybe people. Right? Whatever you can see, it is a representative of God’s glory. God created everything that is seen and unseen.
God is our unique source, the One who “calls the things not being as being” Romans 4:17. Apart from God there is no other source. He is the only One who call things not being, into being.
As the Creator, God needs no materials to work with, because He can create something out of nothing, simply by speaking it into existence. In Genesis, He spoke it, and it was created; again and again and again. He simply said, “Let there be (whatever),” and wa-lah, and there it was.
God is the unique Creator of everything and everything originated from Him. How wonderfully awesome is our God. He is the source of this universe and everything that exists. There is only one God, and we all belong to Him. God is our source and
our supplier. He created us. He gives us life.He maintains our life. He
watches over us. Everything that we have is because God gave it to us.
He is the source of our spiritual life. He chose us, predestined us, redeemed us, imparted His life into us. He is conforming us into the image of His Son, the image of Jesus Christ.
People can “create” arts, musical compositions, buildings, clothes, furniture, bridges, medical equipments and other things. However, everything that they used to build it or create it, they used form and matter, with what God provided them with. God even gave us rhythms, rhymes, notes, instruments, and other artistic mediums to use, for our pleasure and for His glory. They existed before we were ever created.
God is the Designer and Craftsman of everything in the universe. God is the Creator, and the Originator, that means that no one created HIM and God alone is the Creator, of all things. We can create, but what we start with, it all came from God. God created everything and everything belongs to Him. We belong to God, too, but He does gives us freedom to choose Him or reject Him. There are consequences that comes with rejecting Him. Who will you serve, THE CREATOR, who is THE ORIGINATOR, or a PERPETRATOR, who is the enemy.
