TSADDIQ

The Names of God, "Tsaddiq." It means, "Righteous One."

"Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments. Thy testimonies that thou has commanded are righteous and very faithful" Psalm 119:137-138.

Righteousness is defined as the quality or state of being morally correct and justifiable. It can be considered synonymous with "rightness" or being "upright." Righteousness is a quality of being right in the eyes of God.

Righteousness is one of the chief attributes of God. Jesus is "The Righteous One." Righteousness is a wonderful gift from God to us through Jesus Christ's act of love. Through the death and resurrection of Christ, everyone who believes in Him is made right with God. Romans 3:22-24 says, "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."
