“CPR!”

CPR! Yes, CPR! There are different acronyms for CPR. First, there is CPR, Cell Phone Repair. CPR - Cell Phone Repair was founded in 2004 and began franchising in 2007. CPR franchise locations offer walk-in, drop-off, and mail-in repair services for cell phones and other electronic devices.

CPR? The second type of CPR is cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This is an emergency life-saving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival of cardiac arrest. It combines chest compression, often with artificial ventilation, in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function, until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation, and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest.

CPR, some people know CPR techniques and some people don’t. CPR is like life insurance, it doesn’t benefit you, because you can’t use it on yourself, it benefits someone else. Some people really are in need of CPR, not the physical technique, but a Spiritual CPR. Someone needs a Spiritual Resuscitation. The church is in dire need of a Spiritual CPR. Some people need God to breathe on them, because they need to be revived, particularly, a revival of the soul. It’s not that they are spiritually dead, but maybe they need some emergency attention from God.

Some people have been down for so long, they don’t think that they can get back up. They need to be recharged and/or resuscitated So, how can that happen? God is a heart fixer and a mind regulator. Simply ask God for help, and He will help you.

Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” In other words, Matthew 7:7 says, just ask, then keep asking; then seek and keep on seeking; then knock and keep knocking. God will answer your prayers. CPR means to Continue, to Pray, then Rejoice.

There is perseverance and diligence in prayer, as you learn endurance and discipline in waiting. I know some of us have had so many challenges and we are still waiting on God to answer our prayers. Some of us have been praying and waiting so long, we feel like our prayer life needs to be placed on a “life support machine.” For some of you, your faith has wavered and you feel like your trust in Christ may need a “defibrillator”. You must Persist and Persevere in Prayer.

Prayer breathes life back into a dead situation and circumstance. It shocks your heart into life, so it can operate as it should. It confronts you with the reason why Jesus died on the cross for you. The cross of Jesus allows God to have His finger on your pulse and allow your heart to beat as it should. The resurrected power, offers resuscitation power. What a jumpstart to the heart! God’s CPR offers you, Compassion, Promises, and Restoration POWER. God will never break a promise, because John 15:7 says, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!”

So as children of God what does CPR really mean to us in times of crisis? CPR means, there will be “Challenges”, you should always “Pray”, and after prayer, you should “Rejoice”.
