CUT IT OUT!

To cut someone out means to separate them from things that they are normally connected with.

To cut out is to sever, separate, disinherit, amputate, chop-off, disendow, tear-out, and to remove.

There are some people in your life that aren’t good for you. You are not equally yoked. They are trouble makers, nay-sayers, negative, abusive, and emotionally detached. They are full of criticism, insults, and they are just outright TOXIC.

Psychological research shows that criticism and insults are five times more powerful than compliments. That means if you want to keep any type of friendship, relationship, or marriage flourishing with them, you will need five positive reactions or interactions, for every negative one.

So what do you do to minimize your interaction with these types of people? Simply, if they are in your life, just CUT THEM OUT. I personally will not associate with the negative kind. I try to avoid these types of people because those people’s energy is toxic and I will try to avoid them, like the plague.

My circle is very small, it's not an accident, it is by design. I have made a conscious decision a long time ago, to be careful about who I surround myself with. We need to choose our friends very carefully. So, who have you surrounded yourself with?

“He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20).

If you surround yourself with wise people, you will allow yourself to be influenced by those who are wise. If you are a companion of fools, even if you are not aware of it, you will be influenced by them. You don’t have to do anything wrong, it's a proximity thing. There is an old proverb that says, “Birds of a feather flock together.” This means, people of similar character, background, or taste tend to congregate or associate with one another.

I pride myself on being a woman of God. I believe in giving everyone the” benefit of the doubt.” So when your true self is revealed, and I realized that nothing that I can say to encourage you to see it Jesus’ way, then I have to “CUT THEM OUT,” and keep it moving.

Our daily prayer should be, ‘Lord is there is anything in me that should not be, please “CUT IT OUT!”

ENVY - CUT IT OUT!

JEALOUSY - CUT IT OUT!

PRIDE - CUT IT OUT!

BACKBITING - CUT IT OUT!

EXCUSES - CUT IT OUT!

ARROGANCE - CUT IT OUT!

DISOBEDIENCE - CUT IT OUT!

LYING - CUT IT OUT!

LUSTING - CUT IT OUT!

Child of God, be on the look-out for the following:

1) Gossipers: these types will deliberately tear people down,

including you.

2) Emotional Vampires: they comes in different forms. Some

will elicit pity for problems they really don’t want to solve.

Some just like to make you miserable.

3) The Green-eye Monster: Jealousy is a very evil spirit. These

people will pretend like they are happy for you, but they are not.

If it doesn’t glorify God, simply “CUT IT OUT!”
