ELOHIM

"Elohim," is another name of God. It means, "The Living God or The strong, Creator God."

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" Genesis 1:1-2.

The creation story teaches us much about God. God did not need to create the universe, but He chose to do so. God is creative and it is expressed through His creations. He chose to create us. Why? Maybe as an expression of love, because God is love.

God is our True God. He is the God of Truth. He is the Living God and Jesus is the manifestation of the Living God. God is the Creator of ALL things. He is the King of kings, Lord of lords and the Ruler of ALL.
