JESUS gave His life for us. What are we willing to give to Him? He became the sacrificial Lamb. What are we willing to sacrifice for Him?
Where do your faith falls on the faith meter, if there was such a thing? Are you honestly passionate about your faith? Do you give your whole heart to God? Are you passionately following Jesus? Or are you a one-day-a-week Christian? Do you just serve Him on Sundays, maybe on Wednesdays, if you have the time or feel up to it?
Faith is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God. Faith is the assurance that the things revealed and promised in the Word are true, even though unseen, and gives us a conviction that what we expect in faith, will come to pass. Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real, even it we do not see it. It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God's command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen.
Faith is a commitment, not only to believe that Christ will save us, but to put our lives into His hands and trust Him alone for our salvation. Not only are we to believe that Jesus can save us, but truly trust Him to do it.
Nothing is more important that our commitment to God through Jesus. Our faith should never be an afterthought or doubted. Our faith must be our priority. Our faith must be our possession. Our faith must be our passion.
"For we live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:17
