I, ME, AND MINE

God says that “I” am the great I AM. If you trust “ME”, then “I” will do this for you. You are “MINE”, “I” am He that can specialize in the impossible.

Our lives should always be about God. When we read His Word, the Almighty God is speaking to us. He points His finger at everything that may cause us problems, disturb our peace, and makes us cry. He knows who our enemies are.

Israel had many enemies and one of their enemies was a small nation called Edom. There was a fortified city in the nation of Edom call Petra. Petra was built into the towering rock southeast of the Dead Sea. When Rev. Porter and I traveled to Israel, we marveled at the sight of this ancient city. It was something to behold, even in its existing condition. Tourists today still marvel at the sight of this ancient Edomite City. So you would wonder how such a remote fortified city could have ever been conquered. But it was conquered, because God had his hand in it. Everything is in God’s hands and God can touch whatever He wants.

It doesn’t matter what problems you maybe facing, God can controlled them all. There is nothing too hard for God.

Whatever is disturbing your peace, whatever problems that you are faced with, give it to Jesus. The God who uses the first person pronoun of “I, ME, and MINE” throughout the entire Bible, controls all things. “I am the good Shepard, and know my sheep, and I am known of mine.” (John 10:14-15)

Point to each of your problems and let God put His finger on each one. God is trying to tell you, “You are MINE!” “I am in charge!” And, “It will be “ME” that will bring you out!”

God who is The Conqueror, was conquering then and is conqueror now, and will forever more be conquering. How can anyone conquer that which cannot be conquered. God can’t be conquered. He is The Conqueror who does the conquering.

John 17:10 says, “All I have is Yours, and all You have is MINE; and in them I have been glorified.”
