The Name of God, Jehovah Elohim. It means, "The Lord God."
"And the Lord God (Jehovah Elohim) formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" Genesis 2:7.
God has a general name and a personal name. Elohim is His general name and is used to refer to deity. Elohim is the Hebrew word for God. YHWH (Jehovah), is God's personal name of Israel's deity. It is used in the context of God having a personal relationship with His people. God's different names in the Bible reflects different attributes of His character.
I know that "The Lord is God." I know that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The Lord God is a mighty good God. He is faithful, merciful, gracious, just, loving, and kind. I am so thankful for Him and to Him. He has brought me from a mighty long way. I just can't thank Him enough for His blessings.
