JEHOVAH GOELEKH

The Names of God, "Jehovah Goelekh." It means, "The Lord Thy Redeemer."

"Thou shalt also such the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob" Isaiah 60:16.

Here God promises glory to His people. He says, "Though once despised and hated and rebuffed by all, you will be beautiful forever, a joy for all the generations of the world, for I will make you so. Powerful kings and mighty nations shall provide you with the choicest of their goods to satisfy your every need, and you will know at last and really understand that I, the Lord, am your Savior and Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel."

This sounds like promises that God makes to all of us. As people of color, we have had to suffer oppression, cruel intentions and racism. God listens to the cries of those that belongs to Him. He sees the corruption, the deceptions, and the lies. He knows that we are despised and hated, but He promised us a glorious future. He promised us peace and righteousness and no more violence. He promised us and God will never break a promise.
