The Names of God, " Jehovah Hoshiah." It means, "O Lord Save."
"They are bought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call" Psalm 20:8-9.
This psalm is a plea of Israel for the success of the Messiah. In Israel these psalms were sung together in a liturgical way. This is a prayer psalm of David. This should be our prayer as well, "O Lord Save." Whatever you are going through, "Jehovah Hoshiah" understands what is going on with you. God is always with us and in the middle of it with us. We are never alone. His lovingkindness is forever! He gives us strength in the middle of our storm. Only God can give us victory over our enemies.
