The Names of God, "Jehovah Kanna." It means, "The Lord Whose Name is Jealous."
"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God" Exodus 34:14.
The first four of The Ten Commandments in the Bible talks about our duty to God. God created us for His purpose. Just like we do not want to share our spouse or significant other, God doesn't want to share our affection with anyone other than Himself. Have you ever been passionately in love with someone? Then you know and understand how possessive and protective you feel about them, then that is how God feels about us. It is a good thing! The Bible tells us that God is jealous for us. That is how much God loves and care about us. We AREN'T to worship no other god, but God. Why should God have to compete for our affection.
