When we learn to see God in everything, we will see and experience calmness and peace. We will see how He takes His peace and places It in us. When we experience His indescribable peace, what was dark and gray now becomes so vividly colorful.
The sorrow we may be experiencing, may or may not be removed. Our circumstances, may or may not be changed. The suffering and difficulties, may or may not cease. But Jesus, the Lord and Master of our life, can take that sorrow, pain, discomfort, grief, mistreatment, and gloom, and can give us a song of deliverance, even in the midst of our trials.
Nothing can happen to you, unless God allows it. That persecution you are going through, God allowed it. God will allow someone to turn your life completely upside down, and when that happens, He commands for us to love them, and to pray for them: "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). Those who mock you, persecute you, lie on you, or despitefully use you, they are considered to be your enemies. Jesus says that we are blessed when we experience these things. He tells us that there is a new way to live our life: with love, not hate. He has already informed us that our true enemy is Satan, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). He tells us how to resist him, "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13).
We know that God will sometime use pain and difficulty in our lives to bring blessings to our lives. So whatever God brings to your door, regardless of how terrible, horrible, dreadful, grim, or frightful it may be, His dealings with us is for our spiritual gain, even in the midst of bereavement, sorrow, and pain. Only when you are able to see God in everything, then you will understand, and learn to love them that mistreat you, with patience. When you see God in everything, those who troubles you, you know to pray for them. When those who makes your life so dark and gray, prayer leaves revenge and justice to God. Those that bring you pain, sorrow, discomfort and gloom, when you place them in God's hand, you release the power they have over you.
We must learn to see God as the One who is All Powerful and All Mighty. With the power God has as the Creator and Ruler of the universe, He is the only ONE who can perform miracles, forgive sins, and give eternal life. You can be sure that His wisdom can never err, His power can never fail, His love for you will never change.
When you can see God in everything, then you will understand that God is the fabric of your life and He has colored it, painted it, with all the colors of His Spirit, showing love and kindness, and every heavenly thing above.
