Hello My Child,
God has a message for you today. Like in times past when He spoke to Elijah. The Lord told Elijah to go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord was about to pass. Remember, Elijah looked for God in the wind, the earthquake, and the fire, but he heard God in the whisper. When Elijah heard the still, small voice, he stepped out his cave and listened to what God had to say. (see 1 Kings 19:12).
Come closer my child, God is whispering to you. Be quiet and be still and listen. That thing or those things that are happening to you, God said that, “This thing is from ‘ME”, 1 Kings 12:4. What is happening to you, He has allowed it to happen. Everything that concerns us, concerns Him too. For those who hurt you, is hurting Him too. In Zechariah 2:8 says, that the Lord says, “for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.”
When you are faced with difficulties and feel that life isn’t fair, God is saying, “This thing is from ME.” He is God, the Great I Am and He is the God of circumstances. You did not happen upon those difficulties and unfairness by accident. God meant for them to happen to you. God sees all things, He is helping you develop His character. He knows that life isn’t fair. He walked this dusty earth and have felt and seen the mean-spirit of mankind. He has seen and experienced the “games” that people play. Wow, the unfairness of it all.
Are you having money problems? You find it hard to make ends meet? God says, “This thing is from “ME.” He is our bank account and He can solve our finanical problems. The Lord is telling us to just lean and depend on Him. His supplies are limitless. He is simply saying that the promises He has made to us, will never be broken. Come unto Him and withdraw from Jesus National Bank where funds are endless.
The Lord tells us over and over again, whatever happens to us, He has allowed it, “This thing is from ME.” Nothing never escapes Him and He is never surprised about anything. So whatever we may be going through or faced with, from the text of 1 Kings 12:24, “This thing is from ME”. The Lord is saying, every circumstance we face; every sorrow and pain we suffer; every disappointent and disadvantage that is brought before us; every interruption and misstep in life, the things that He sends to us are best for us. So most times we don’t understand what good can come out of this thing that He has for us, but He simply says, “hush now my child, my grace is sufficient for thee”. His grace is sufficient for each test that He brings to us and His way for us is always for our best.
God speaks to us in a whisper, because He is close. He is only one step away. If you just reach out for him, you will find him. He is never far away. Just listen to His whisper. He is whispering to us, “This Thing Is From Me”. AMEN!
